HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
I like to keep rates simple no matter what the activity or task. Services are charged at a rate $30/hr (2hr Min) + $2 per mile during errands or any travel outside Springfield city limits. I accept cash, Venmo, PayPal, or checks from regular trusted friends.
DO YOU PROVIDE MEDICAL SERVICES?
No, I do not provide medical services. I am not a licensed medical professional. Excluded services such as medication administration, wound care, bathing, toileting, feeding tubes management, oxygen and medical equipment management, making medical decisions, should be handled by family and trained licensed medical professionals. I am happy to still help with things like medication reminders and simple meal prep like microwave meals and snack management that are predetermined. If there is ever a question or disagreement from the senior or patient I will always defer to the family member in charge of care.
HAVE YOU HAD A BACKGROUND CHECK?
Yes. I've had numerous background checks on the state a federal level. Documentation can be provided upon request. I have no criminal background or rap sheet. I am an easily Googleable person and have a well known reputation in the 417 area and beyond.
WHAT AREAS OF TOWN DO YOU SERVICE?
I can travel to anywhere in the 417 Metro area. Springfield, Ozark, Republic, Nixa, Willard and I'm open to other towns too just let me know where you are and we can get it worked out.
DO YOU ONLY DO IN-HOME VISITS?
No. I understand there are many various medical and family needs that may cause you to be outside the home such as in the hospital or care facility. I can sit with you at the table, on a couch, or next to your bedside.
DO YOU ACTUALLY BRING POPCORN?
YES! I always have at least three types of microwave popcorn on hand. Butter, Salt Only, and Plain. I'm happy to bring some other flavor or type upon request though. I know no movie is complete without popcorn, but I'm always very aware popcorn isn't for everyone with dislikes, allergies, and medical reasons so let me know and I'll be sure to avoid popcorn when necessary.
DO YOU BRING THE MOVIE(S)?
YES! I have hundreds of DVD movies and TV shows to choose from that I can bring with me. If you have your own movies, shows, or DVDs that's great too. If there's something neither one of us owns chances are I'll be able to add it my catalog with enough notice. I also have many streaming services available that I can temporarily log into at your place if your tv permits.
WHAT GENRES OF TV AND MOVIES DO I LIKE TO WATCH?
I'm always happy to watch whatever you'd like from comedy, drama, action, and documentary and even horror if that's your preference. I'm game for almost anything from any era or decade. Want to binge an entire movie franchise or tv series over the course of multiple visits? No problem! That sounds awesome! Do you like to be quiet during the movie? Great. Want to talk during? Great. Make jokes the whole time? It's all great!
ARE YOU OK AROUND PETS?
YES! I love animals too. I have three cats and a turtle of my own. I'm sure they'll enjoy my company and the movies too!
DO YOU WORK FOR AN OUTSIDE COMPANY?
No. I am an independent contractor that works for myself. I do not work at or am hired by any intermediary or outside medical facilities or companies. I have worked for myself for over 20 years and will continue to do so for many more.
